807   Deuil de Paul Fontaine

Deuil de Paul Fontaine is one of our personal favorites among the Moss Roses. It makes a low growing bush - only 2 – 2 ½ feet tall, with lovely deep mauve double flowers that come in waves all summer into the fall. Deuil de Paul Fontaine is heavily mossed and the moss is heavily scented. The flowers are very fragrant, too. The foliage tends to black spot during wet, humid conditions, but we can forgive that. Deuil de Paul Fontaine has proven to be reliably hardy in our Zone 5 gardens
