LIngenue is another of the rare white Gallicas. LIngenue was introduced before 1846, and it probably made its first appearance in the Empress Josephines rose garden at Malmason. LIngenue stays fairly narrow in growth habit; it tends to be on the taller side of the Gallica size range. We rarely see black spot or mildew, even during the worst of the heat and humidity of Ohio summers. Winter die back is negligible.
