Cardinal de Richelieu is breathtaking in full bloom with its very double, mauve blend flowers. The color approximates a cardinal’s robes. Cardinal de Richelieu, along with Superb Tuscan displays the deeper, more intense colors that can be found among the Gallicas. Winter hardiness is very good in our Zone 5 gardens.
