Seven Sisters is a rose that my grandmother obtained 75 years ago. It has grown here under all conditions - from benign neglect to a cherished heirloom. It has thrived under all conditions. It blooms here in Zone 5 in late June - early July. There is only slight fragrance. We try to prune last years growth every summer after it blooms, because by fall, the new growth will be at least 10 feet long again. The pliable canes are easy to train up a trellis or along a fence.
