Awakening is the double sport of the outstanding climbing rose, New Dawn. It is identical in all respects except it has twice as may petals. Awakening was rediscovered in Czechoslovakia in the early 1990's. It has been growing there since the 1930's. Hardiness is hard to beat. The glossy leaves are albost nevet bothered by disease. The long canes are supple and pliable, which makes them easy to train on a trellis. We recommend it highly.
