Therese Bugnet has the tall, arching growth habit found in some of the Rugosas. It is one of the earliest to bloom, usually before Memorial Day. Therese Bugnet is generally finished blooming by mid-September, and then she prepares herself for the coming winter. The canes will turn red during the winter, and leaves can turn red in the Fall. Please note: hardiness is based from Canadian sources - hardy to the tips here in Zone 5.
