1141   Robusta (KORgosa)

Robusta is a tall vigorous rose that bears large single red flowers in large clusters all summer.  Developed in Germany, Robusta is appreciated world-wide.   We have experienced some winter die back, but we prune the dead wood in the spring, and by June, Rubosta is a 5 foot beacon in the garden.  The older leaves may be susceptible to blackspot after the first big bloom cycle in June, but Robusta's vigor keeps it growing and blooming until fall.
