Mrs. Anthony Waterer is one of the first, and probably one of the best of the true red Rugosa roses. It repeats well with large well-shaped flowers. Bloom production will drop off as the summer progresses. Mrs. Anthony Waterer has remained disease free through our hot humid summers with no black spot. The fragrance is very good and Mrs. Anthony Waterer has demonstrated good hardiness in our Zone 5 gardens. We recommend Mrs. Anthony Waterer highly.
