Monte Cassino is one of the newer Rugosa hybrids developed in Germany.   The large, loosely cupped flowers are born in clusters.  They have good fragrance.  The bush will grow to 4+ feet tall.  The foliage has the typical rugose wrinkled leaves, and the typical rugosa resistance to any diseases in our gardens.   Monte Cassino is an outstanding addition to the garden.
