1129    Martin Frobisher

Martin Frobisher is a classic.  The bush is the typical fountain form, narrow at the bottom and cascading to the ground under the weight of the flowers at the top.  Martin Frobisher does not have the wrinkled, deeply veined leaves that give Rugosas their name, but is has the typical Rugosa resistance to disease and the cold hardiness.  Martin Frobisher will give winter interest in the garden.  The canes will turn a dark red with the onset of winter.
