Oeillet Flammand gives us another example of the striping that can be found in the Gallicas, this time in pink and white. The rose expends all of its energy in one prolonged profuse bloom from mid June until about the first of July. Like most Gallicas, Oeillet Flammand appears to be resistant to the typical fungal diseases found in so many of the modern roses. Winter hardiness is excellent in our gardens.
