The Gallicas are noted for some interesting color combinations. Many are naturally striped. Camaiex is an excellent example. The moderately fragrant pink and white striped flowers never look garish or out of place. The more muted colors blend well with other blue and white flowers. The foliage shows good disease resistance in our gardens. Winter die back is minimal. The bush stays relatively low with a minimum of pruning and shaping.
