Autumn Damask was the first repeat blooming rose known to the western world.   It was popular in Roman times because it can bloom repeatedly during the season, as well as because of its outstanding fragrance.  The origins are lost in time, but Autumn Damask remains one of the best loved roses.  We treasure it.
