Fimbriata is one of the first of the fringed, carnation type flowered rugosa roses.  It makes a tall accent shrub in the garden.  The shrub form is tall and arching - similar to a fountain when in full bloom.  It blooms heavily in June with sporadic repeat through the growing season.  The leathery, deeply veined leaves have been totally disease free in our gardens.
