Chloris is one of the truely ancient Albas.  Its origins are lost in history.  The delicate light pink flowers are born in one prolonged profuse bloom in June.  Most Albas don't have too many thorns, but Chloris goes even further.  Chloris is one of the few almost thornless roses.  The blue-green foliage is rarely bothered by black spot or mildew in our gardens.  The fragrance is excellent.  The mature bush will have a vase type shape - narrower at the base with cascading canes.
