Alba Maxima is one of the oldest Alba roses. Its very double, intensely fragrant white flowers have been loved for centuries. Alba Maxima was the "White Rose of York" during the war of the roses. Its origins trace back to the 15'th century. It has the typical blue-green, disease resistant foliage of the Albas, and it is quite hardy during our northern winters.
