1009   Indigo

Indigo is one of the most outstanding  Portland roses we grow.  The mauve blend flowers combine the typical damask fragrance - very strong with subtle undertones of musk - very complex with a very attractive garden plant.  Indigo has proven to be reliably hardy in Ohio's winters with only minimal die back at the tips.  It is one of the most reliable roses we grow.  It may show some blackspot on the older leaves after the first flush of blooms, but it continues to bloom into October,
